Default Mathews Legacy Draw Length

Bought a Legacy in a MDF auction last year. My first bow. It came set at 60lbs with a 30" draw length. I took it down to the local Mathews dealer becuse I wanted a shorter draw length. I thought I needed to get new cams and string. But they moved the string around another pin on the cam. I shot the bow about 1000 times but started to get frustrated with it because it was erratic. Thought it was because of my ability. Just recently after finding out I drew a NM archery Elk tag I wanted to get this realigned and tuned by the local pro shop (Not the Mathews dist.). They did and found that because of the rerouting of the string the current draw weight is 50 lbs. and is maxed out. Also the arrows I orginally bought are too stiff for this setup.

Question is do I

A. Stop now go purchase the cams and string to make the draw length.

B. Stay with current setup. 29" draw - 50 lbs

If A then has anyone been able to go direct to Mathews to trade out cams or something like that.
