I honestly feel the 2009 prices are now pushing the limits and this could be the 1st year in the last 10 years in which I'll not be buying the latest bow.
08 the AirBornes were both $829 suggested retail
09 the Admiral is $829 suggested retail with vast improvements over previous CP bows.The General was $799 suggested retail in 08.
I don't see that big a change from prices a year ago. As far as needing a New Bow? I doubt very few guys that buy a New Bow need one, but............................................... ..... that's not the reason we buy one.
It's called Want One. I can sell a bow that is a year old and get a fair return, but a 2 year old bow and value has fell off considerably. I've owned at leastone new bow every year for as long as I can remember.
Most years more than one!
I don't spend money on any other hobbies.Bowhunting/Archery isjust my thing!
