I have a 4200 1.5 to 6 mounted on a Ruger Express 77 mk2 300 win mag. I also have a Leupold VX3 1.5 to 5 mounted on a Win M. 70 7mm.08 and a Leupold VX3 2.5 to 8 on a M. 70 300 WSM. I agree with Stubblejumper that the Elite is brighter than the Lupi but dammit it' s twice the size. It will fog if you breath on it but it also will sheet the rain off as claimed. I personally think the Elite series is quite OK but I still prefer Leupold over Bushnel Elite because of the size & eye relief but I have to mention that I also have but one Swarovski and it' s a PV 2.5 to 10 x 42mm with a 4A reticle mounted on a pre 64 M.70 and I can tell you unequivocally I wish I could afford to mount Swarovski' s on all my rifles. gg.
