If you already have a 270 a different/bigger gun really won't help you drop a deer any quicker. What you really need to do is work on shot placement and accurize your rifle to take the longer shots. If your rifle shoots 1 inch at 100 yards it will be 3 1/2 at 350 so make sure you have tight groups them practice at 350 and you will dropem' on the spot.
