Thanks for the info and you are right i should not have said hoped, what i meant is that I know i can neck shoot a deer and miss the vitals, the reason I am looking for a smaller caliber is my daughter is 8 and wants to kill a deer I don't have the money to spend on a rifle for her without getting rid of the one I have now, So i need something smaller for her but can still do what I need it to do. Also I neck shoot because i hunt meat far more often than I hunt horns, the horns are just a bonus for me.
