It' s 115 in Vegas today as the high, but at least there is good news in that tomorrow it is only supposed to reach 111. [X(][X(][X(] I blame my wife for this.

Good to hear that the good guys pulled a few permits this year. One of these years I hope to be pleasantly surprised to find a permit under my name. Like you said bear, at least we still get to hunt!

I' ll be heading off the slope tonight and leaving Monday at midnight for Vegas, so I' ll be off line for a while. I' m headed to Colorado on the 23rd of July to see family, so at least I only have to deal with the Vegas heat for a week before I get a break from it. Hopefully I' ll still be alive at the end of the month for the caribou hunt!

SEAK and I went out last night and saw one bull. We put a 2 hour long stalk on him, and SEAK got to draw back on him once, but that' s about it. Not a bad time though, we managed to sneak in range on the wide open tundra. That dang bou wouldn' t pick a direction to go, he kept wandering around aimlessly. Ah well, just nice getting out there.
