I agree that spine should be the standard for labeling arrows.I wouldn't even mind if they gave AMO speeds as well.I would like to see them give BOTH.IBO and AMO
Nah, you don't want IBO and AMO. They used to show both numbers, but because everybody got so obsessed with speed the manufacturers jumped on thre bandwagon and quit listing AMO speeds. Basically the difference is that IBO is figured at 5 gr/lb while AMO is at 9 gr/lb; 30"/70# and 30"/60# respectively.

How about we make some real practical changes? How about bow speed rated at 28" (closer to average than 30") and 65# (middle ground?). All bows physically measured for draw length and weighed. How about random testing by a 3rd party? Just pull one off the production line and test it.

How about we change draw length measurements as it is computed today. How about just measuring "true draw" and being done with it. True draw being apex of the string to the deepest part of the grip. Why do we need to add 1.75"? What's the point?

How about we do away with the term "Berger hole"? Seriously, Vic Berger came up with a great idea with the plunger, but when was the last time you saw a real life Berger Button Plunger sticking through a riser (I still have a couple). And I'd be willing to bet that 90% of the shooters today don't even know where the term "Berger" originated.
