So when you are picking out a tree for your treestand, what is the #1 thing that you look for in a tree?
Location. You can hunt low, or high, and make your lockon doing amazing agility stunts... but if you aren't in the right location, it doesn't matter.

After you get your location I look for a tree that is suitable for whichever type of stands I'm using. Don't be afraid to hunt on the ground either.
