WELL, YOU HAVE ALOT TO CHOOSE FROM FOR THAT PRICE. If you meant $500 for the bow only (no accessories included) then look at the Bowtech ES and Mighty Might. Mathews FX and SQ2 are good choices also. If you meant $500 for the bow, sight, quiver, arrows, peep, stabilizer, arrows, etc. then I would lean toward the Browning Tornado, PSE Fireflight, Pearson, and MANYother brand bows. One thing - most all modern bows will be " fast" , but sometimes a bow is better when it shoots smoother and quieter at 270 FPS than a bow that is noisy at 300 fps

. I consider anything above 260 FPS fast - especially if shooting aluminum arrows. I' m glad that my wife bought me my FX
