Default RE: Heaviest Draw Weights??

The BowTech ExtremeVFT Sampson model will be the hardest hitting of the bunch.......with limbs up to 100lbs. The parallel limb style should make it fairly mild to shoot . Once it' s back that is!
Assuming middle of the road with regards to IBO speeds:
The 100# model at 5grs /lb(500gr arrow) should shoot approx 330fps.....that' s 121ft lbs of KE!! Holy sweet mama![8D]
With a 700 gr arrow you are looking at 280+fps and probably closer to 125ft lbs of KE.

The 90# model at 5grs/lb (450gr arrow) should also shoot around 330fps for about 110ft lbs of KE.........translate that to a 700gr arrow and you are looking at about 270 fps and closer to 115 ft lbs of KE.

Obviously speed will go a down a bit as you start adding things to the string but this should give you a ball park starting point. I' d keep the string stuff SIMPLE and as light as possible for big stuff like that.....no sense in putting together a tank killer only to bog it down with a bunch of extra string junk. As Scotty would say," Full power to engines Captain!"
BIG fat extra bored out Tru-Peep " Super Hunter" , no silencers and something light and simple for the nock set (I don' t think I' d care for a string loop on a 100# bow[]) I' d probably shoot off the string with a nice big tied in nock set and an eliminator button underneath. Simple and quick in case you have to shoot in a hurry.

Good luck and get them before they get YOU!
