I'm talking about growing up in your mindset on deer and deer hunting.
It is not about growing up in your mindset , its about deluding yourself into believing that killing a buck that is one year older makes you a superior more responsible hunter , simply to justify your desire to harvest bucks with big racks. It is the classic QDMA propaganda rack hunters use to impose their ideology on others.
Ask yourself the question AGAIN. Spike, 4pt, 10pt all standing in a line. Which one do I shoot?
Then tell me you value them all equally after you shoot the 10pt.
Without a doubt I would shoot the 10 pt. and I would certainly be happier with a 10 , then a spike. But, it is a totally meaningless question since ARs have not and will not provide that opportunity. After 6 years of ARs I have not had the opportunity to harvest any 2.5+ buck no less a 10 pt.

ARs have done nothing to improve the health of our herd and have ruined the buck hunting experience for thousands of hunters, for the benefit of a few greedy trophy hunters and to get hunters to kill more doe.
