RE: For those who have hunted 10 yrs or more..
This is my 17th year hunting, 8th with a bow. My desire and effort in my hunting are at its best right now, and have been for the past few years. I want to keep pressing forward with this same type of effort for the next 5-7 years until hopefully my son will want to bowhunt. At that time I will bring down my level and slow down to help my son.
The things I have grown most intersted in are off-season scouting and learning as much as I can about things that I am not good at, such as identifying trees/food sources and learning the little things that will help create a big pay off.
Landon, you also have to remember, we are all not getting any younger. Many of us at our age have really active families which can put hunting on the backburner at certain times of the year, due to energy levels and family commitments.
