The quality of the Remington 870 is some of the best you will find in a pump action shotgun. They do have a tendancy to jam on ammo brands that it doesn't like though.........
Just go with a Benelli....then you don't have to worry about anything.....

x2 haha. I'm not sure how much clearer I can say it moss, the quality of the 870's obviously pretty decent if it's that old, and been in too many duck blinds (waterfowl hunting is FAR from easy on guns) and in the turkey woods too many times to count, and still going strong.
I prefer the semi though, I'll stick with my inertia driven 2000
