Well I think my first deer season is done. Went to a family friend's property today in Bellevue, Mi and did not see a single deer. I have no where else to hunt for the month of december, the closest is 40 miles one way. For it being my first hunting season I am at least walking away with a lot more knowledge of the elusive whitetail and will be back next fall to hopefully take my first with my bow. Might make one or two more trips out to that property before the season ends Dec. 31st here in michigan but not sure how lucky I will be.
