It will let you know if there are deer in the area and what time they're coming and going. Also, if it's possible, leave your blind in one spot for a while. Or set up several blinds in different areas. If you move the blind to a different spot with you, sometimes the deer will notice that it wasn't there before and it'll spook them. If you leave it there for a while, they'll get use to it.
