RE: Bad trend in Deer Hunting
I think down here in the South you just about have to use a treestand or a tree climber. If you were using a bucket here you couldn't see through all the bushes. It is also just about all flat ground here.I have hunted in Missouri and in West Virginia and if you get on some of the hills on the ground or on a bucket it is just like being in a treestand. I think it is hard to tell what is right or wrong in how someone hunts unless they look at the whole situation. When I hunted in Missouri it was on the edge of a big cornfeild and that was considered legal. When I got there I thought that was crazy because the deer were trashing it. It looked like they wasn't much corn to harvest after they got through. I seen plenty of deer and even got a nice buck. But some people would prob consider that as baiting because the deer were definately coming to it. But I just like to hear how people hunt just to know that they are hunting! I also agree, if it's legal I am behind you 100%.
