Not a fan if remington. to many bad shooting rems lately, and rugers not known for accuracy either. But some people have had great luck with them.
Ame here I have heard a lot of nightmare lately the remington QC is not what it was just a few years ago. Rugers though are still the tough railroad tie they have always been and eith just a little work they can be real jewels. I have my name sake and I have it shooting submoa with just a trigger job and floating the barrel.
