Funny thing is that it was probably some kids on 4-wheelers that messed things up instead of a hunter. We occasionally have problems with that in the area where i own land, but i would not use that as an excuse to not let innocent people hunt my ground.

Like other folks said, I would try to sit down and have a long talk with the guy and explain that having you around may be the best way to help prevent people coming around and tearing stuff up. Think that offering to help repair the damage would be a great move as well. if he is a drinking man, I would suggestbringing a 12 pack with youand catch him whenyou know he is about to stop work. Have a couple beers and lay out your case, then head out and leave the rest of the beer with him.
