I had some problems with the blazers adn cable contact with my general. it sucks with the hostage b/c you really dont have alot of options. tbh, my blazers would hit sometimes on my general but it still shot consistantly. maybe just a little tail at first but it evened itself out.

my suggestion (other than your rest change) would be to try out the 3d duravanes. i shoot both, blazers, 3" 3d duravanes, and the 2.3" 3d duravanes. they all shoot super consistant, the duravanes just have less clearance issues. also being a lower profile vane, they are less likely to hit a tree limb or something like that while hunting. just my .02
