I am with BigBulls on this one. I have used my 270 everytime I went elk hunting during rifle season that is. Have only had to shoot more than once, but that was MY fault not the caliber. It wouldn' t have mattered if it were a .35 cal. I have never had to track one either, they have all fallen within sight.
