It's possible to score from the ground but in my opinion much more difficult. Harder to see them coming and movement is not an option. Try not to spread your scent around too much walking around looking for a place to set up. Maybe a little camo netting and some brush if you choose to hunt on the ground. Scape the leaves down to bare dirt to keep noise down when you move your feet or drop something.
