I once had a best friend who's future wife decided they were getting married in November. He told her and so did I that if it was during deer season we were not showing up and she'd have to get married alone. Same went for opening day of trout season. That woman never did seem to like me...

Its too bad that you are going to miss opening day. I always felt that the first two days of season were the days with the highest percentage of scoring your deer. After that it is more like hunting... Those first couple days, them deer are running full bore all day long.
