I kinda like hunting in the rain other than you get wet... but it hides a lot of noise for ya...

The shooterwas at least 200 and probably more like 250 yards down below and to the north of me. Like I said if I had the 270 he would have been down.

Still shooting the 260 grain Nosler -as long as I have them... although the price oflead has dropped quite a bit... 25# bag of shot was only $34 the other day when I was in Black Sheep - that is a whole lot better than the $50 it was a few months back.

I wish I had drove around to see if there was a camp in Strychnine rock pile - there is a really big trailer camp up behind Hansen's shop.
