For years I have used Mallard tone calls - the D4 was my favorite.

Recently I purchased a few custom duck calls learning from the use of my custom turkey calls purchased and have since given my old faithful call to my grandson. Boy was I missing the boat. Recieving a hand tuned call is far better than a mass produced call.

I like double and single reed. If the reeds stick take a bit of time and blow on the other end to remove moisture and or debri.

I need to find my camera to show you my 3 brand new duck calls and my new goose call all from Priarie Calls.
