I need help identifying this rifle. I've owned many A-Bolts but have no idea about this one. My father gave mehis A-bolt several years ago right before he died and it was stolen and of course I never got it back. I am wanting to replace it the best I can.It was a 270 A-Bolt stainless stalker purchased in the early 90s. The stock was synthetic, however, it almost had this suede feel to it, it had a completely different feel to it than today's synthetic stock and it had a greyish color to it instead of solid black. It was a softer feeling stock. I do know that is was a Browning stock and not an after market addition.

Any help would be appreciated. Even though I can't replace the sentimental value completely, I would like to get as close as I can. If you know any other forums that may help me find an answer please let me know.
