Go with a Leupold. Bass Pro in their flyer I received last week has the Leupold Var XII 3x9x40mm in gloss black finish for 179.99.That's about the cheapest I've seen them going for.Some of my friends have Simmons and had problems with them.Simmons does repair them but that's to much hassle as far as I'm concerned.
