What is the smallest buck I would shoot???? Well are the spots off? Although them spotted ones are real tender and fit right on a Weber Grill.
I shoot legal deer. The bucks have to measure 3 inches (in the case of a spike longer then your thumb..) or be a fork horn. This is a matter of choice. If there were LOTS of mature bucks in my area, I would pass on some of the smaller ones. If my freezer was empty the first one with legal head gear that walks by is my winter meat supply.
