Default RE: No More Small Bucks!

I was responding to rybohunter's first post.I don't know what you are referring to?Rybohunter/Ryan and I have the same opinion on this matter.
Ryan is from PA I am from NY,states with traditions of if it's brown it's down and where a buck prior to antler restrictions with any calcium on it's head would get shot prior to the 10 doe's it was standing with.
I struggle with these things as I do not want to impose my beliefs on others.I also know that if we are ever to see any quantity of 3.5 plus year old bucks on public land the experienced hunters who spend plenty of time hunting will need to lay off the small bucks.
It is a delicate issue obviously, thats why we have this many pages and this much emotion about it.For me as a person who hunts their a-- off every year at home to take 2.5 year old bucks it gets old after a while.I have no intention of demeaning any one and would be the first to sincerely congratulate any hunter on what they kill, with the exception of when they are stacking up the 1.5 year old bucks. That is my personal bias.
As I said I struggle with this, many have expressed themselves very well regarding folks should shoot what ever they please within the law,and I understand that.
I hunt out of state every year, and perhaps have been spoiled by the quality of hunting that is possible with better management and with most hunters holding out for an older age class of buck.
