I use the block target butts and they last quite a while. Although I only shoot my broadheads to tune and ensure they are hitting with my field points. I may be the lucky one but I have found most times my BH' s group with my field points, as long as my bow is tuned properly. This way I don' t chew up target or dull my BH' s. A buddy uses a burlap sack filled with plastic shopping bags, he also hangs a piece of carpet as a back up stop behind when firing BH' s into it, seems to work pretty good. He refills with new plastic bags as they become compacted or worn.
