Default RE: Dedication in the Hunt.....

hmmmm all depends how hot he really sounds and if there are birds in the area on my side of the river.....if there wasnt and i REALLY didnt feel like getting soaked id set up on the edge or the river and shoot across it.....but ive crossed some pretty decint sized water after turkeys....some mornings id do it day after day just because there wasnt much of a way around it......for a few days in a row we crossed a creek deep enough to get you wet with good rockys on and then climb a hill thats right next to verticle for 1400 ft....we wouldnt go the whole way up at once...wed hunt around 1000ft id say then work our way up.....my dad still dont believe thats why my boots look like elf shoes with curled toes...they would dry as id walk up and thats how steep it was.....they dried like that day after day and are stiff like that now.....all depends on how i feel and what options are left.....if its going to leave me birdless id swim across if i had to........
