Ok for those of you who seen my post about my hunt in 10-8-08.
Me talking of shooting low maybe skinning a deer with the arrow following blodd 2 hours. Also had having measured distance due to not owning a range finder yet.
Well i took my bow out today to do a little target practice, and i was waxing it up and noticed this.
The last time i was at the bow shop i went to replace it with a teflon one and was talked out of changing it out because the one that came on the bow was supposed to be a better grade.
I think im going to be disappointed when this happen in the field, so i know im going to buy 2 when i go to get this fixed.
Now my whole deal is, could this have cause my shot to be off so much that i grazed the deer i shot at?
I know bowhunters miss, but i have practiced so much i thought for sure i was in a good confident range to hit my deer, since i pre measured distances and im hunting from a popup ground blind.
Anyone know if this could have been broke on the trip going to the lease or during shot and messed up the trajectory of my arrow? I shot my bow at the lease and it shot find 20 and 30 yards. So im guessing it broke during my hunt :S. Sorry for such crappy image, it was on my phone. But you guys should get the idea what it is easy.
