Took the optima out today in cold weather and i have to admit,the first shot scared the crap out of me as i wasnt expecting the trigger to be so light! That moly lube is an amazing tool!

I switched my hunting load to 90gr pyrodex P and the 348gr Hollow Point and the bullets are holding up great in the dry sand bucket. I am 5" high @ 100 so i will do 3 clicks down and that should put me where i'd like to be.

Its cold as heck out today and so i was finally able to try it in cold weather! One thing i didnt like was a plastic loop on my hunting jacket. The optimas break open trigger got stuck inside that loop and i had to fiddle around getting it out. Better to happen on the shooting range than when/if i see an elk

Going to clean the rifle and oil it, load 3 speed loaders and take her back out late this evening when its Really cold.
