That is a shame.. Quality control I think is as important as great customer service. Nothing makes me more upset then getting a new rifle home, new out of the box,only to find such obvious malfunctions on the rifle that it has to be sent back to the factory for adjustment.
When I find bad fit and finish, or such, it is plain that before that rifle was boxed, noone took the time to put the thing even basically together and try the hammer, trigger, breech plug, hinges, or other such things. If we as consumers notice these flaws in a few moments.. why were they not spotted before I had to go through the expense and trouble to mail it back.
Who actually makes the Remington Genesis? I think Traditions sells a Yukon that is basically the same rifle. I was asked this today while at a friends house, as they saw the add in the Cabela's Christmas Catalog and was thinking presents for the boys..
I think Traditions makes the Genesis for Remington but Remington handles the quality control aspect. but I'm not 100% sure ( That's what I've heard).The quality of the Remington is great compared to any traditions I've seen though and I have both.
