I am surprised the triggers are still bad. I had one of the very first ones out and the trigger was so bad I could only pull it three times before my finger was too sore to continue shooting. It shot fair but was such a piece of crap for the quality of the action that I traded it in for a used NEF. I had heard that the bad triggers had been corrected unless you got a very old rifle. I managed to get my trigger down to about 18 pounds before I traded it. I have no idea what the original would have measured (maybe 35 pounds??).
