Hey Swampdog I bought pretty much the same gun 2-3 years ago 26in" & 3in" chamber. L like the gun a lot. It has very minimal recoil and is a great bird gun.

I don't know that much about low brass shells. However I may have an idea. I have had problems shooting Winchester's cheaper shotguns shells out of it. It usually jams up and is unable to eject the shell from the chamber so I switched over to a diffrent type of shell (Fiochhi) and it has worked great since. I hope that helps
