I have the Tc Endeavor. It is a great gun. You can buy centerfire and rimfire barrels to put on it. It is pretty expensive. If you want one just for Muzzle loading, I would suggest the TC triumph. What ever you get, you should get one that you can use Blackhorn 209 powder in. I quit with mz a couple years ago. I got tired of all the swabbing and stink. Sold all my stuff. Now with blackhorn, I am loving mz shooting again. No more swabbing, and you can leave it dirty. No more rust.
Yes, BH is expensive, another option to consider, you could buy a Savage Smokeless and shoot low recoil 2000 FPS loads and have 0 cleaning the whole season, shoot for about 1/2 the cost of 777 and 1/3 the cost of Blackhorn and really enjoy it, if your state allow Smokeless.
I am going to Colorado on Friday with my Savage for first Rifle season Elkand all I did was take the breech plug out, drill out the carbon, replace the "vent liner" (basically hole that is in the breech plug) and cleaned the thread and I am ready to go. My rifle shoots better fouled and no swabbing ever. I have cleaned it 2x since owning it, and I hunted all last year with it and shot about 300 shots thru it this spring and summer. They are a very accurate gun and as low maintenance as ya wanna be.
I shot this group the 2nd time I shot the rifle, 300g Shockwave with 44g of 5744 and the supplied sabot. The gun is more accurate than I am.
