RE: Homemade camo?
A few years ago my wife was just getting started. She didn't want to spend the money on camo. I had an old pair of quilted carharts that fit her. Bought some black and green dye from the store and painted 'em up. Didn't look too bad.
I think most of the camo craze is hype. As I said before, I watched a video of a guy in blue jeans and a camo top stalk and kill a good buck in a partially-down cornfield. Movement, or lack thereof, is far more important than camo, although I do wear camo: BDU bottoms and digital top, both military issue.
