I have read somewhere that green light is the most visible light to the human eye. Also I have seen in person deer farmers using red/green lights and their reasoning was that deer don't see these colors very well. they would bring the deer into a headgate to saw of their antlers and vet applications. All the lights were either of these two colors inside the building they did this.
