Same here with my Great Plains .54 - so is the 3rd. 4th, etc. Even wiping/not wiping the bore doesn't seem to make a lot of difference. However, I'm shooting it only at 50 yards with iron sights, as opposed to 100 yards and a scope with some other guns, so it's not a valid comparison.
