Like Blakef said, once you make it your routine and get used to the sight you will always be aware of what that is set to. I recently switched to a 3 pin sight and I am seriously thinking of going back to an HHA or similiar. When I started using the single pin I flung my fare share over the target also. If your range is what you say it is you should really like the single pin. Good Luck.
