RE: Compound attachment
Ya see, now I'm in a different boat. I've shot recurves all my life and sorta had disdain for compounds. Now, there's a organization in northern VA called Suburban Whitetail Management of Northern Virginia. They hunt urban deer almost year round on damage stamps. The thing is they will only let compounds or crossbows hunt no trad bows. (I don't know why, yet) So my wife bought me a Bear compound to use. It's taken me a full year to get used to the darn thing to be able to qualify for the group. Qualification is 2 out of 3 of the broadheads you are going to use in a 6" circle at 20 and 30 yards. I go tomorrow to qualify and yes I am bringing one of my recurves. I think I'll take the Bear Custom TD.
If ever I can convince them that their prejudice is unfounded I'll sell that compound to the first one that wants it. There is no attachment to it.
