Default RE: Compound attachment

I still have and shoot a compound. I have gradually sold off all my compounds, but just cant let go of my favorite. I like to get out and shoot it. I even took my first deer last year with it. Last year I did not get a chance to practice, and was recovering from a hand injury on my draw hand, so I took my compound on a, spur of the moment, hunt. Glad i did. I ended up tagging a huge doe. The rest of my deer were shot with longbows and recurves. I guess Its like haveing a sports car. They are fun to drive, but not much fun to take on trips. I like to sport my compound around the back yard every now and then, but love to take long trips (hunt) with my trad bows. It is also nice to have a bow that I can pick up and be dead on in times of injury. Im kind of accident prone. I have not pulled out a compound since that deer hunt last year. Ill be out with an osage bamboo long bow on opening day this year. Which fall in less than two weeks.
