Yea, I don't think I would use the one you have pictured......
I was also looking for a press that was cheaper but sturdy and most importantly portable. I finally settled on this one..Mike's Portable Bow Press.. was $35 about 6mos. ago. It's just the ticket for me. Heavy Duty Strap w/handle and functional attachments, and very portable.
