You are scaring me Herman. I' m pretty sure mine will continue to do well with the big boys I' m shooting from White even though they are a nightmare to load. The bit of Bore Butter I put on the base of those White sabots helps but they still go down tight! I' ve got to get out and do some shooting again soon. More with the .45 and have yet to shoot the .50 I bought.
I' m going to give conicals another try in the .45 also. I' ve got some that weigh about 325 grains and pop out of the mould at about .447 diameter. Those should load easily in that tight bore and I' m keeping my fingers crossed that they will perform.

Oh, and don' t forget that I had the QLA section cut off of my .45 barrel. I think that may well have helped. Doesn' t make much sense that a .50 WITH QLA would do well and the .45 will not do the same, but maybe the barrel control and alignment of the QLA is just better on the .50 cals.??
