I will have to disagree about the noisy bow part. My hunting partners bow sounds like a two by four hitting a screen door and he has had deer stand there and continue feeding until they bled out. Not to mention I have had deer shot with a muzzle loader have the same reaction, and that sucker makes some noise.

I have noticed not getting a pass through makes a big difference though.
