Default RE: Is this so bad?

Love to know if this person even feels bad for doing this. Likely he did not even tag it so when he takes another buck later this season.. he will be breaking the law twice.

I think he should turn himself in to the commission. Not an easy thing to do however, to prove that he understand it was wrong and to redeem himself, it is the only thing he can do. If not, every deer he takes from now till he stops hunting will be questioned. Was it shot in the dark, before season, after season, etc. No reason not to question. You break the law and don't get caught...why not do it again?

A buddy on mine did something similar. He has obeyed the law all his hunting life. While on a job site in a non-hunting development, he saw a monster buck. Largest in his life. He could not resist, grabbed his bow, walked up to the buck that was crazed with the rut, and shot him. He actually never found the deer. People make bad judgments to which I don't understand. Hunting is a sport and challenge. You bag a big buck great! If not, that is why there is a next season.

How can anyone be proud of taking game out of season, in a non-hunting area, etc?
