It does the opposite Swamp. It will spin the shot making it spread faster and leaving a big hole in the middle of the pattern. I have experimented with different chokes, rifled barrels and different size shot looking for a good defense load. Shooting shot out of a rifled barrel is completely useless. You would have be so close for it to have any effect you could just beat the person with the gun instead
