Default RE: Mathews Drenalin speed

ORIGINAL: Rick James

I've worked on Dren's extensively and hunted with one last year as well. The Dren's came from the factory at about 73-74lb max on a 70lb set of limbs on average. They also drew about 1/2" long on the cam as well. With that said, the speeds of the Dren were right on target with listed IBO specs assuming you used thecam marked as 30"(not the cam that actually measured 30"). I can't find the post I did last year, but at something like 69lbs, 29.5" cam, and a 437 grain arrow I was getting 285 last year.
I think this is what I am running in to.I have gotten the bow setup to max out at 70# and the draw is a bit shorter,so it seems I have taken some of the preload out of the limbs.

Looks like I will have to twist the cable up a little,I will just have to check and see how much I can get by with. The bow needs to fit before we worry about speed.
