Most of the Mathews I have worked on have been shot by fairly short draw archers. Usually in the 27" range. Two switchback XTs in particular. Both of those guys are maxed out at 70#s and shooting arrows about 5-6 gr over IBO. Speeds with peeps and loops are right around low to mid 270s.

Mathews bows just aren't designed to be overwhelmingly fast. I think they are extremely smooth and quiet, which is awesome.... but speed has to come from somewhere.
