Here's a quick drawing of the situation. The city yard is right against the city limit line. Unincorporated county lies to the east of the city. There is a country lane which runs north/south. A flowing creek bed (where the buck goes to drink) is around 200 yards away and just beyond a wheat field. There is a tall cottonwood tree in which a tree stand could be set. From the tree, you have a super view inside and outside the fence. I have seen the buck come through the hole and head Northwest (around the fence). I have also seen him head straight to the creek bottom.
